Who is 'Brightech’?

Brightech is a lighting company that makes affordable, functional AND modern LED lighting and decor. Their lamps require zero to minimal construction, so they are ready to use right out of the box!

They provided me with this Brightech’s LightView Pro Rolling Base lamp for free to review, but they seriously have so many beautiful decor lamps that I think I may have to do some Black Friday shopping for our new house too :)

Thanks to Brightech for supplying me with the lamp for this review. All opinions are my own.

Fast Shipping, Minimal Assembly for this Crafting Lamp

When my LightView Pro Rolling Base Lamp shipped, it only took two days to get to my house! I love fast shipping, especially around the holidays. *Note: for now this company only ships to US Addresses

As many of you know, we just moved. I have been unboxes, assembling new furniture, arranging and rearranging for the past two months! So I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box for this lamp and saw one little instruction card. The lamp came in two pieces (the rolling base and the neck/light) and to connect them all I had to do was use the provided hex key, bolt and washers to connect the two pieces. Easy peasy!

A Lamp with Options

I put the lamp together and I immediately used it as extra light while I was photographing my projects for Seven Days of Scarfie (7 free one skein or less patterns, 7 days, starts 11/23 - find all the info here!). This lamp is versatile in so many ways! It has two different hinges that allow for heigh adjustment, and I LOVE that I can move it up and down with my hand without having to loosen or tighten anything. I just move it to where I need it and it stays put!

It also has a two way adjustment at the top by the light. The light can be tipped up or down with a quick adjustment and it can also be tilted side to side.

And finally, the rolling base means that you can easily move this lamp around wherever you need it to be! The rolling base is weighted making it easy to move around (even on carpet) and hard to tip over. As many of you know, I have little kiddos in the house, so that part is important to me!

This lamp isn’t only versatile in its positioning and mobility, you’ve even got light options! See those two pictures below? How cool is that?!

The LightView Pro Rolling Base Lamp has integrated LEDs that can be dimmed and brightened easily with buttons right on the top of the light head. I didn’t edit the color tone of the pictures below…that’s just how different the light can be based on your preferences!

And there are so many benefits to using LED lights! This lamp uses 9 watt LED lights which means it uses very little electricity and won’t generate heat. Which, let’s be real, when you are snuggled up under your crochet projects - you don’t need any extra heat!

Light + Magnification = Working with Dark Yarn a Breeze!

Who are my lovers of black/dark grey out there? But how much to you dislike actually crocheting with it? I know I do! But with this light/175% magnification combo it makes it so much easier! I don’t use reading glasses (yet!) but I know this would be helpful for anyone who is a bit farsighted.

Perfect for Product Photography

The final way that I will be using my LightView Pro Rolling Base Lamp is as an extra light source for my photography and video filming. The fact that I can change the color of the light and move it easily where I want it to be will be a HUGE help. So if you sell patterns or products, you may want to seriously consider adding this to your photography set up! Who doesn’t love such a multi functional piece of equipment?!
